Rapid Relief Team packing up festive food for Aussie families in need

The Rapid Relief Team (RRT) has helped provide families across Australia with more than 1,100 Holiday Food Boxes, or the equivalent of more than 28,000 meals this month. For the past few weeks, RRT’s dedicated volunteers have packed the boxes with enough food to provide a family of four with three meals for two days, including non-perishable staples, Christmas stockings, puddings, and shortbread. The Holiday Food Boxes are then given to charitable organisations that support people experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, and financial hardship.
