Two senior members of the government, Linda Burney, the Minister for Indigenous Australians and Skills and Training Minister Brendan O'Connor, have announced their plans to retire at the end of this term of government. Both will step down from their positions as ministers immediately, with the Prime Minister expected to announce his new ministry on Sunday.
