Mr Night is physically located in Brisbane this week, Melbourne Friday 6/9/2024 and back in Brisbane Saturday 7/9/24 onwards and is available to travel.

 

Mr Night is an adult Living with Disability, a National Disability Sector Advocate, carer, father and outspoken supporter for reform and improvements in the Disability and NDIS sector with a 30+ year career working across Disability, Youth Justice, Guardianship, Child Safety, Education, TAFE, Aged Care, Forensics Disability and Mental Health sectors.

 

Mr Night has appeared on hundeds of items of coverage recently regarding NDIS, the disability sector and reforms. He will be in Melbourne Friday 6 Sept 2024 briefly and has availbaility to attend in person between 1pm and 4:30pm for interview. As Mr Night is not often in Melbounre and wont be returning until Mid October for the largest Disability and NDIS event for Victoria in 2024 and host the Victorian Disability Sector Awards, please reach out directly if you would like to book Mr Night during his availble time in Melbounre this Friday. 

Mr Night will be at Marvel Stadium and MCEC in the city during the morning for venue visits and can attend studios if given notice or meet crew.

ADHD drug shows promise for treating methamphetamine dependence, landmark Australian study shows

A prescription medication used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) could be repurposed as the first pharmacotherapy for people with methamphetamine dependence, according to a study published in Addiction. Results from the landmark ‘LiMA’ trial show that thepsychostimulant lisdexamfetamine can drastically reduce the need to use methamphetamine among those who are dependent on the illicit drug. Lead author and addiction medicine specialist Professor Nadine Ezard, who is Director of the National Centre for Clinical Research on Emerging Drugs (NCCRED), said the results were promising.
