Brisbane’s most inspiring charity luncheon honours healthcare heroes

The Australian College of Nursing Foundation < 1 mins read

The Australian College of Nursing (ACN) Foundation is bringing together influential nursing leaders, community figures, and supporters to honour Australia’s frontline nursing heroes while raising funds for the Bullwinkel Scholars Program, at the International Nurses Day Luncheon Fundraiser this Sunday.

The charity gathering will host inspiring speakers, an exclusive fashion parade featuring local designers, boutique business pop-up stalls, competitive silent auctions, and premium raffles.

The event will raise funds for the Bullwinkel Scholars Program, which provides essential leadership education for Australian nurses serving in rural, remote, military, and First Nations communities.

Guests will be joined by speakers ACN Foundation CEO, Adjunct Professor Kathryn Zeitz PhD FACN, who will share her vision for the profession and the power of philanthropy; Adjunct Associate Professor Sonia Martin MACN, founder and Director of One Bridge, who will speak on nurse-led innovation; and Leisa Jackson MACN, a 2024 Bullwinkel Scholarship recipient, who will offer her personal insights into the meaning of the scholarship and legacy she carries forward.

The event is proudly supported by Finance4Nurses, Guild Insurance, Victoria Park, sfh Designs, and Anannasa.
