From today, Vision Australia Seeing Eye Dogs will welcome premiership-winning player, Brayden Maynard, as an official Ambassador.
The star defender’s charitable history with the organisation and love for dogs made the partnership an easy decision for all involved.
“Brayden has been a long-time supporter of the work we do at Seeing Eye Dogs, having volunteered over the years and adopting his adorable lab, Simon, from us,” said Seeing Eye Dogs manager for puppy development Jane Bradley.
“He is one of many compassionate Aussies who play an integral role in the journey of a Seeing Eye Dog through volunteering. Without his generosity and the generosity of others, our puppies would not be able to receive the care they need before embarking on their training to become a fully-fledged Seeing Eye Dog.
“Having Brayden advocate for our cause in an official capacity is an incredible honour, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact that our ongoing partnership will have on our puppy caring program and the lives of people who are blind or have low vision.”
According to Brayden Maynard, his partnership with Seeing Eye Dogs was a natural affiliation.
“Accepting the title as Seeing Eye Dogs Ambassador was a no-brainer. It’s a worthy cause that everyone should get behind, no-matter which footy team they go for. I’m excited to see the impact we can make together,” said Maynard.
