MEU calls on Sanjeev Gupta to hold a public Town Hall meeting amid growing uncertainty at Tahmoor
The Mining and Energy Union is calling on Sanjeev Gupta to convene a public Town Hall style meeting for all stakeholders connected to Tahmoor Colliery. The union says workers have been left in limbo for months, with unpaid wages, stand downs and shifting explanations from the company. Labour hire contractors at Tahmoor were recently informed they would no longer be paid while RStar stood down more than half the mine’s workforce.
