Final stage of long overdue pay rises for aged care workers take effect today
Many aged care workers across Australia are receiving a long overdue boost to their pay packets, following the success of the Health Services Union’s landmark aged care work value case. From Wednesday October 1, a personal care worker will earn $34.60 an hour. This is the final stage of wage increases stemming from the aged care work value case, which was lodged by the Health Services Union in the Fair Work Commission in November 2020. New pricing announced for NSW Container Deposit Scheme supplier contributions
Scheme coordinator Exchange for Change (EfC), has announced the new fixed price per material type for supplier contributions that fund the Return and Earn NSW container deposit scheme. Scheme coordinator Exchange for Change (EfC) today announced the new fixed price per material type for supplier contributions that fund the ACT container deposit scheme (CDS).
