Family First has warned that the Victorian Government’s proposal to force public disclosure of auction reserve prices risks pushing up housing costs and reducing transparency, leaving young families worse off. Under the plan, real estate agents would be required to publish the reserve price at least seven days before an auction or fixed-date sale. New survey reveals concerning escalation in crime impacts on Victorian businesses
A statewide Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Committee for Melbourne survey has revealed the scale and severity of crime and antisocial behaviour now impacting businesses across Victoria, with 92 percent of employers revealing that concern for staff safety has increased.
