Annual Muslim Conference

Live interview of Australian Imams, VIP guests from around the world, volunteers, Muslim scholars, government officials and community leaders.

Australia’s oldest annual Muslim conference gathering to discuss world peace initiatives and saving the world from destruction.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia will host its 35th Annual Convention on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th July at the Grand Pavilion, Rosehill Gardens - Grand Ave, Rosehill NSW 2142. This year’s event is expected to draw over 3,000 people for presentations and discussions about international peace, leadership and unity.

Among the convention's central themes is a focus on the work required to avoid the catastrophic effects of a third world war. As a dark shadow of war hangs over a large part of the globe, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has warned for a decade on the need for absolute justice in international and national affairs to avoid the inevitability of a World War 3.

His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the Khalifa (World Head) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, has led the effort to warn world leaders for nearly two decades to protect justice for all people, saying:

"For many years, I have warned the major powers of the world that they must heed the lessons from history, particularly in relation to the two catastrophic and devastating world wars that took place in the 20th Century."

The Khalifa emphasised the remedy of this perilous situation, stating:

“Whatever wrongs are being committed by the Russian State, we must keep in mind the broader picture that if the war is not brought to an end, it will lead to a deepening global crisis with potentially catastrophic results.  Opposing blocs will become further entrenched.  Hatreds will become even more deeply-rooted, increasing the likelihood of a world war. Hence, as they continue to support Ukraine as it defends itself, world powers should also be making every possible effort to end the war through peace talks and good-faith negotiations.”

The event also provides a unique opportunity for people to attend, participate, ask questions, and understand Islam. Along with hundreds of Australians from different walks of life, the convention attracts government officials, lawmakers, diplomats, faith leaders and media outlets.

Address: Grand Pavilion, Rosehill Gardens - Grand Ave, Rosehill NSW 2142

Date:  Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th July 2023
