Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Logan invites all to their Annual Interfaith Ramadan Iftar Dinner

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Logan is holding it’s Annual Ramadan Iftar Dinner and Interfaith Symposium “Fasting in My Religion” on Saturday, 30 March 2024 at 4:30 PM.

 

Various Faith leaders and council members from across Logan will gather and speak on the topic of fasting from their religious practices. The keynote speaker will be local Imam of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Imam Mohammad Ata-e-Rabbi Hadi. 

 

Talking about this auspicious occasion, Imam Hadi states,

“We invite you into our world this Holy Month of Ramadan to spend an intimate evening of conversation and dining as we open our mosque to our friends and local neighbours to break bread and open our fast together."

 

The event will be followed by a complimentary Iftar Dinner and members from the community are invited to attend the event.

AFL players’ hip issues begin early in their career

AFL draftees have shown changes to their hip joints early in their playing careers, in a new research finding that could reveal why elite athletes have higher levels of hip osteoarthritis. Researchers from La Trobe University studied 58 pain-free male AFL draftees, finding that that nearly half showed hip joint changes on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and 20 per cent had a particular hip bone shape called cam morphology.
