DCA unveils refreshed education offerings

Diversity Council Australia 2 mins read

Diversity Council Australia (DCA) is helping Australian workplaces harness the power of inclusion through evidence-based education with the launch of an updated suite of Knowledge Programs.

Workplaces with high levels of diversity and inclusion (D&I) are more innovative, creative, and profitable, and education is one of the most effective ways to foster inclusion and increase employee support for D&I initiatives.

DCA has reviewed its education offering in line with the latest best practices, most recent DCA and industry research, and past participant feedback, to ensure the programs are as relevant and impactful as possible.

The revamped programs incorporate more interactive elements including discussion points, key resources for participants, and reflective activities. The programs can also now be completed in a sequence as a learning journey, or individually based on your organisation’s specific needs.

DCA’s Knowledge Programs range from 90-minute to full-day education sessions (depending on your chosen program) designed to increase employee knowledge, skills, and awareness of a range of D&I topics. Each program is delivered by an experienced facilitator and can be held either virtually or in person for groups of up to 30 participants.

The new program offering includes:

  • Diversity and Inclusion Fundamentals
  • Building Inclusion at Work
  • Unpacking Words at Work
  • Countering Unconscious Bias at Work
  • Understanding Anti-Racism at Work

“Education is crucial to fostering more inclusive workplaces where employees in all their diversity can thrive,” said DCA CEO Lisa Annese.

“DCA’s education team has conducted a meticulous review of our Knowledge Programs to offer workplaces leading practice solutions backed by the latest industry research.

“Whether it’s addressing unconscious bias or fostering inclusive communication, DCA’s refreshed Knowledge Programs cater to diverse organisational needs.”
