Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 August 2024, Sydney Showground

The Dog Lovers Festival is bounding back to Sydney Showground bigger and better than ever this August. Featuring a new line up of pup-inspired entertainment, insightful education zones and renowned animal experts, plus returning crowd-favourites, the two-day celebration promises to inspire and delight dog owners of all litters.

Festival Founder, Jason Humphris says the team has expanded the festival offering to meet the evolving needs and interests of pet owners. New highlights include a Dog Friendly Travel Hub, the Optimum™️ DOGWALK, Australia’s Best Doggleganger competition and more.

“As one of the largest dog-dedicated festivals in the world, we are delighted to launch our reinvigorated festival program in Sydney. We’re constantly listening to the needs and wants of dog parents and understand Sydneysiders raise their beloved companions in diverse environments, surrounded by beaches, waterways, and beautiful parks. They are always looking for new ways to spoil their pups and bring them on new adventures, so our festival provides the perfect place to connect with experts and celebrate their love of dogs with fellow fanatics. It's also a great place to shop with all the latest products and services to ensure their four-legged friends lead the most fulfilling lives.”
