In the lead up to World Mental Health Day on October 10th, and in preparation of the launch of lululemon’s annual Global Wellbeing Report on September 24th, lululemon is hosting the Together We grow collective; a series of FREE holistic wellbeing events across the country.

The series is part of lululemon’s Together we grow campaign, which is aimed at empowering communities in Australia and New Zealand to get inspired, gear up, and join the movement to amplify one’s sense of wellbeing.

Featuring sessions with local Ambassadors, hosted by stores within the community, these events offer invigorating workouts, mindfulness workshops, and valuable community connections.

To give you a taste of what’s in store, see some of the classes available across QLD below:

Brisbane

  • Club KT (James Street), Tuesday, 24th September, 5:00 AM - Run Club with lululemon Ambassador Katie Dall

And that’s not all; as part of the initiative, lululemon is launching the Together we grow challenge aims to reach a collective goal of 1 million minutes of movement. From now until October 12th, upload a photo or video of yourself and friends being active — at one of the classes or just in general — on Instagram Stories, and for every person in your post, 30 minutes will be added to the goal. Once reached, lululemon will unlock 1 million minutes of free movement activities for local communities. Tag @lululemonaunz with the hashtag #togetherwegrow to get involved!

NSW MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS – INVESTMENT CRITICAL NOW

The looming resignation of over 200 psychiatrists in the NSW public health system on top of 140 vacant psychiatrist positions reflects the dire state of the current NSW mental health system and will only compound the challenges and trauma experienced by people with acute mental health challenges, their families, and carers. The NSW mental health peak bodies, BEING Mental Health Consumers (BEING), Mental Health Carers NSW (MHCN) and Mental Health Coordinating Council (MHCC) have been calling for significant mental health reform in NSW for decades. ‘The peaks acknowledge the plea from NSW psychiatrists in relation to their remuneration demands and…
