Leading homeware and lifestyle brand Pillow Talk welcomes 2026 with ‘Romance the New’ – a romantic new collection of bedding, homewares and small accessories designed to bring calm and renewal into the home, available now in-store and online.

As the new year unfolds, Pillow Talk invites Australians to fall in love with their home, routines and the little moments that make every day feel considered. Romance The New is designed for the in-between season, when life is back in motion and spaces call for a refresh that feels effortless, not overwhelming.

With a new, refined palette of fresh botanicals, soft textures and timeless shapes, the collection creates a softly romantic aesthetic. Influences of Japanese minimalism and subtle Art Deco touches - seen through curved lines, soft silhouettes and sketched black outlines - add a contemporary edge while celebrating imperfection, nostalgia and artisanal craftsmanship. Each piece is chosen to support gentle resets, calmer mornings and rituals that feel grounded, rather than rushed.

The collection is presented with three distinct capsules, offering versatile styling directions:

  • Romantic Revival: inspired by Wuthering Heights, the capsule draws on the brooding beauty of classic romanticism, translating windswept moors and poetic intensity into richer textures, layered fabrics and candlelit tones. The result is a moodier, more atmospheric expression of the collection, designed to add depth, warm and emotional resonance to the home.
  • Outline: delicate details and soft linework create a bedroom look that feels considered and timeless, perfect for refined elegance in everyday spaces.
  • Matcha: a modern green palette softens the bedroom with calm, romantic ease, introducing the trending matcha hue into interiors with serene, contemporary feel.

The refined colour story features blush botanicals, sepia tones, warm neutrals and gentle greens, complemented by linen, sheer textiles and sustainable craft finishes. Across bedding, homewares and small accessories, the collection combines soft textures and thoughtful details, while organic ceramics and modular pieces make it easy to create calm, light-filled interiors that feel both personal and timeless.

Romance the New was designed as a moment of renewal - a collection that invites people to slow down and create spaces that feel calm, romantic and restorative,” says Kellie Bower, Senior Textile Designer at Pillow Talk. “Alongside the lighter, airier pieces, we’ve introduced a Wuthering Heights-inspired capsule, tapping into the renewed cultural fascination with classic romantic storytelling, while the Outline and Matcha capsules offer additional styling directions for a variety of moods and personalities.”

Encouraging Australians to step into 2026 with whimsy, nostalgia and calm, Romance the New offers a trans-seasonal approach to styling homes that are designed to be felt, not just function.

Romance the New is available now, in-store and online.
