Decode Group has been crowned NSW’s number one residential contract builder, following the release of the annual rankings of Australia’s largest construction firms.

The 2026 Hubexo Central Construction League list, which ranks the largest construction firms by the value of project commencements, has confirmed Decode’s growing capacity to deliver residential developments at scale across the State.

Decode Group Founder and Chairman Sam El Rihani said: “Being recognised as NSW’s number one residential contract builder reinforces Decode’s position as an important delivery partner in tackling the State’s housing shortage.

“We are committed to supporting residential developers and the NSW Government in meeting its ambitious housing targets.

“Despite the challenging economic environment for the construction industry, we are continuing to invest in our people and capabilities.

“Our success is not only measured by our volume of work but also our capacity to deliver quality projects, our operational excellence and the trusted relationships we have built across the sector.

“Decode is on target for another year of record project completions as we continue to strengthen our partnerships with leading property developers including Thirdi, Sekisui House, IRIS Capital and Abadeen.”

With approximately $1.4 billion of work in hand, Decode’s landmark projects include Thirdi’s Dairy Farmers Towers and Merewether Residences, Sekisui House’s Dawn and Waterstone, IRIS Capital’s Queensgate Potts Point, and Ellipse Property’s $660 million Carrington Place masterplanned community in Castle Hill.
