Key Facts:
  • Australian restaurant Voice AI provider Sadie has announced a direct integration with global reservation and table management platform ResDiary, owned by Access Hospitality, part of The Access Group.
  • The integration enables Sadie to handle bookings, changes, and cancellations end-to-end over the phone for venues using ResDiary, with the aim of helping restaurants capture every booking opportunity around the clock.
  • Sadie data shows that up to 60% of phone calls to venues are directly tied to revenue, yet 68% of calls come in during peak service periods and 16.5% outside of staffed hours, making it difficult for staff to answer the phone consistently.

  • The integration is now available to ResDiary venues, with full details accessible via the Sadie website at heysadie.ai.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Sydney, Australia, SEPTEMBER 8, 2026: Australia’s leading restaurant Voice AI provider, Sadie, has today announced a direct integration with ResDiary, the global reservation and table management platform.

Owned by Access Hospitality, part of the Access Group, ResDiary is leveraged by thousands of restaurants across Australia and New Zealand, this new integration giving them access to Sadie’s premium Voice AI.

With margins in the hospitality industry tightening and the industry facing staff shortages, venues are increasingly reliant on software solutions for operational efficiencies. Sadie is Voice AI that supports complete coverage of incoming phone calls, which remains a challenge for venues reliant on staff alone.

Country Manager for Sadie, Steve Hutchinson, explains:

“Australian Hospitality is an extremely challenging landscape, with thin margins, constantly rising operating costs, and staff shortages. Sadie helps to increase marginal revenue, offering restaurants better coverage that they simply cannot get through staffing alone.

At the same time, Sadie enables more efficient deployment of skilled restaurant staff, handling phone enquiries so they can focus on providing the in-venue experience that underpins great hospitality.”

Sadie data shows that up to 60% of phone calls to venues are directly tied to revenue.  However, on average, 68% of calls come in during peak service periods, and a further 16.5% of calls coming in outside of staffed hours; making it a challenge for staff to get to the phone.

The integration between Sadie and ResDiary enables Sadie to handle bookings, including changes and cancellations, end-to-end over the phone for venues leveraging ResDiary.

On the new integration, Martin Verdon-Roe, Chief Commercial Officer, Access Hospitality, F&B stated:

The Access Group is committed to helping hospitality operators get the most from their technology, and this integration between ResDiary and Sadie is a perfect example of that vision in action.

ResDiary already powers reservations and table management for thousands of venues across the globe, and by bringing Sadie's voice AI into that ecosystem, we're giving operators a genuinely powerful way to capture every booking opportunity, around the clock.

We know that missed calls mean missed revenue, and this partnership directly addresses that challenge. Together, ResDiary and Sadie will help venues deliver a smarter, more seamless guest experience.

The integration is now available to venues using ResDiary, with full details of the integration available through the Sadie website
