NO BULLYING GOES TO FAR NORTH  QUEENSLAND!

Everyday kids are bullied in schools and playgrounds. Their confidence and self esteem suffer and school is not a safe place. Susanne Gervay OAM through I Am Jack and the following books reveal the truth of bullying and how to win against it.

Susanne is a specialist in child growth & development. When she discovered her son was bullied at school, she felt compelled to write I AM JACK. It cannot happen to any other child. Kids need to believe in themselves and others.

I Am Jack is written for kids who bully others and who are bullied. It is written for parents, teachers and adults to understand how bullying happens and how to create a world where young people can be all they can be.

Susanne Gervay is excited to be travelling to far North Queensland as part of STORYFEST OUT WEST to empower young people and their families.

She receives many message inspiring her to keep advocating for NO BULLYING:-

Hello Susanne Gervay.

I am writing about a current book I have bought and read, I AM JACK. I get bullied at school almost every day and it makes me sick. I just didn't feel like going to school. I pretended to be sick and stay home for the day. I've talked to the School Councillor, I've tried to tell my

mum, I've thought of getting back at the bullies, but all these things don't seem to work. But I AM JACK inspired me to tell everyone that I am being bullied. It makes me feel great and today I treated my mother with respect (I wasn't doing that ….) Lowana (aged 11)
