DIVERSIFIED AUSTRALIA LAUNCHES FIRE SECURITY EXPO - A DEDICATED FIRE PROTECTION MARKETPLACE FOR FIRE SAFETY PROFESSIONALS

Diversified Australia has announced the launch of Fire Security Expo, a new trade exhibition dedicated to the fire protection sector, taking place at ICC Sydney from 2–4 September 2026. Registrations are now open for eligible trade visitors at firesecurityexpo.com.au.

The event has been created as a dedicated marketplace for the fire protection industry in Australia, bringing together the full fire protection lifecycle — from detection and alarm through to suppression, passive fire protection, emergency lighting, compliance technology, monitoring and maintenance. It is the first Australian trade exhibition built specifically for this sector.

Fire Security Expo is designed for fire protection contractors and installers, fire engineers, safety consultants, system designers, facility and building managers, building owners, developers, procurement leaders and professionals working across construction, government, critical infrastructure and compliance.

Colin Williams, Event Director, said: “The fire protection industry has not had a dedicated trade marketplace in Australia. Fire Security Expo is built to address that gap — connecting the people responsible for protecting buildings, assets and infrastructure with the products, expertise and industry relationships they need to do that work with confidence.”

The launch comes at a time of rising complexity across the fire protection sector. Regulatory requirements are tightening, compliance obligations are increasing, building systems are becoming more connected, and practitioners are navigating a fragmented supply landscape. Industry consultation conducted ahead of the launch found strong demand for a dedicated platform, with respondents pointing to compliance pressure, technology adoption challenges and the need for better coordination across the sector.

Fire Security Expo will be co-located with Security Exhibition & Conference, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2026, and Integrate. The co-location creates a broader marketplace across fire, security, AV, connected buildings and critical infrastructure at ICC Sydney. For visitors, the ability to access three connected events on one show floor provides a wider view of the systems and technologies now shaping the built environment.

The Fire Industry Alliance (FIA) has been appointed as Official Association Partner and will deliver the event’s education programme, drawing on practitioner knowledge to build a conference agenda grounded in real-world application.

The event is produced by Diversified Australia, which has four decades of experience delivering trade exhibitions in Australia, including Security Exhibition & Conference, Integrate and foodpro.

Entry to Fire Security Expo is free for eligible trade visitors who pre-register. Registrations are now open at firesecurityexpo.com.au.
