Students and landholders come together to champion biodiversity
A new partnership is bringing students together with landholders to protect and enhance biodiversity across NSW. The Biodiversity Conservation Trust’s Conservation Champions initiative is an educational project that promotes the importance of biodiversity and private land conservation through hands-on learning experiences. Earlier this year, the NSW Department of Education was successful in securing the tender to deliver the project for the next three years through its Environmental Education Centres (EECs). Business suspended from energy efficiency program over doctored photos and customer details
The Essential Services Commission has suspended the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) accreditation of Royal One Pty Ltd for allegedly submitting doctored photos and falsified customer details to fraudulently claim certificates for energy efficiency projects. The VEU program is an energy efficiency program that helps Victorians cut their energy bills by supporting households and businesses to use energy more efficiently.
